Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Full-Time Outpatient Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established outpatient practice. This full-time opportunity focuses on delivering comprehensive care to patients in a supportive, community-oriented environment. The practice is committed to providing high-quality primary care services with an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct primary care services to a diverse patient population in an outpatient office setting.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, focusing on preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically eClinicalWorks.
- Manage a reasonable daily patient volume of 12–15 patients, supporting quality time with each individual.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall mission of the practice.
- Adhere to clinical protocols, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize built-in administrative time to ensure all documentation and care coordination is completed efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license.
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; familiarity with eClinicalWorks is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Full-time, permanent position in an outpatient-only setting.
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), promoting a healthy work-life balance.
