Primary Care Physician Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join a well-established private practice in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care services in an outpatient setting, addressing acute and chronic health conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, perform physical exams, and order or interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing management for a broad range of medical issues.
- Educate patients and families about preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with practice protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical operations.
- Engage in regular case discussions and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Arkansas, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Practice Details
- Full-time, outpatient-only schedule; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Each physician receives one day off per week and an alternating four-day weekend once per month.
- No hospital call responsibilities; minimal phone call coverage required.
- Supportive work environment with experienced clinical and administrative staff.
