The Power Generation Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering complex projects that involve sales products such as generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), paralleling switchgear, and related accessories. This full-time position requires the successful candidate to ensure seamless project execution from receipt of purchase through to final customer acceptance, delivering results that satisfy both internal and external clients. The Power Generation Project Manager (PM) is a key member of the sales and project management team, directly supporting the growth and development of the power systems business in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
As a Power Generation Project Manager (PM), you will be responsible for organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and purchasing necessary equipment and services, while leading cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders is essential to ensure project timelines are met and deliverables exceed client expectations. Power Generation Project Manager (PM) - Summary- Lead and manage power generation projects from initiation through completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, resources, and vendors to achieve project goals.
- Review technical documentation, manage procurement, and oversee delivery and installation of equipment.
- Support the overall growth and success of the power systems business segment.
- Conduct thorough reviews of new projects to confirm accuracy of bill of materials, cost estimates, and terms & conditions.
- Collaborate with sales, management, and clients to resolve conflicts or clarify project details.
- Verify that project quotes and estimates meet technical and customer requirements.
- Secure submittal approvals and ensure timely project progression by obtaining necessary client authorizations.
- Issue purchase orders and coordinate procurement of all equipment and services.
- Arrange shipping and logistics to align with client requirements and project timelines.
- Manage invoicing for all delivered goods and services.
- Participate in safety programs and maintain a commitment to workplace safety.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a project manager or engineer in the electric power industry or a technical field.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel and gaseous engines, generator sets, ATS, paralleling switchgear, and related projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and skilled at direct customer interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results on time.
