Physician Assistant (PA) - Telehealth Job OverviewFamily Medical Associates, P.C. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our telehealth team in a full-time capacity. As a Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in telehealth, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients through virtual platforms. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to patient care remotely, supporting the ongoing needs of our Massachusetts-based patient population.
Responsibilities- Conduct telehealth visits for primary care patients through secure audio and video connections, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with all medical regulations.
- Collaborate closely with onsite physicians to deliver comprehensive chronic care management, acute and urgent care consultations, and medication management services.
- Provide timely and thorough follow-up with patients, addressing evolving health concerns and coordinating continuity of care as needed.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to accurately document patient encounters and maintain up-to-date information on patient progress and treatment plans.
- Engage in ongoing communication with the healthcare team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care within the telehealth framework.
- Abide by Family Medical Associates, P.C. protocols and the highest standards of patient care in a virtual setting.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Massachusetts is required.
- Experience in primary care is preferred; however, all qualified Physician Assistants (PA) will be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency with telehealth technologies and the ability to provide care through remote platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure effective patient interactions and collaboration with the clinical team.
- Commitment to upholding patient privacy and maintaining a professional, compassionate approach to care at all times.
