Carolina Medical Associates is seeking a highly responsible and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated healthcare team on a full-time basis. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and supporting the physician staff in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess patients, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Conduct physical examinations, obtain patient histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Assist in performing medical procedures and provide follow-up care as directed by supervising physicians.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive health measures.
- Document patient information, assessment results, and treatment plans accurately in electronic medical records.
- Stay current with medical guidelines, procedures, and technological advancements in the field.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, clinical training, and continuing education activities to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) in a clinical setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical guidelines, diagnostic procedures, and patient examination protocols.
- Familiarity with recent advancements in medical technology and current best practices in healthcare.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science.
