We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis with the opportunity to increase hours over time. As a key member of the clinical staff, the Physician Assistant (PA) will play a vital role in supporting patient care, coordinating treatment, and ensuring the efficient delivery of medical services. This position offers a pathway to transition from part-time to full-time employment, providing opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits, with an initial focus on providing thorough evaluations and care, starting at one patient every 30 minutes and progressing to managing up to an average of 20 patients per day as proficiency and workflow improve.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic study results, interpreting findings and communicating relevant information to patients and the broader healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient care, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and seamless treatment plans.
- Complete all patient notes and documentation on the same day to facilitate timely billing and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) is required for this Physician Assistant (PA) position.
- Current DEA licensure is necessary to prescribe and manage medications as part of patient care.
