Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) / Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our family medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions with patient-centered care for all ages. You will work closely with our team of medical providers and staff to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat a variety of common illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients.
Document patient interactions and medical histories in electronic health records (EHR).
Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient care, creating a positive experience for each individual.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement in practice operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from an accredited PA/NP program. Licensure/Certification: Current and active PA-C (Physician Assistant-Certified)/FNP certification and state licensure.
Experience: Experience in family medicine or primary care required, but new graduates with a strong clinical background are encouraged to apply.
Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
