Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conduct patient assessments, perform physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients about preventive care and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the practice.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with advances in family medicine.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Full-time, permanent position with no night or weekend shifts required.
