Physical Therapist (PT) OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient care team on a full-time basis in Grand Junction, CO. Responsibilities- Perform thorough patient evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based outpatient physical therapy interventions focused on optimizing patient mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices to achieve treatment goals for each patient.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Supervise and mentor physical therapy students or aides as assigned, fostering their growth and upholding high professional standards.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress to support compliant billing and quality assurance.
- Engage in ongoing performance improvement initiatives and pursue professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in the field of physical therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, DPT, or PhD in Physical Therapy.
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist (PT) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning and strong communication abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
