Physical Therapist (PT)Maria Parham Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, on-site position in Henderson, NC. About the Physical Therapist (PT) RoleAs a Physical Therapist (PT) at Maria Parham Health, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy interventions to help patients achieve optimal mobility, function, and quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs. The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT)- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in an outpatient setting, addressing a broad spectrum of medical diagnoses and patient needs.
- Utilize clinical expertise and advanced therapeutic techniques to support patients in improving mobility, managing pain, and enhancing overall function.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and strategies for achieving optimal recovery and long-term health.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely patient documentation in compliance with both facility policies and state healthcare regulations.
- Current and active North Carolina Physical Therapist License in good standing.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in physical therapy practices and procedures, particularly in outpatient care; experience with acute or inpatient rehabilitation is valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited program.

- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification is considered an asset.
