As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at All Abilities Physical Therapy & More for Kids, you will play a vital role in supporting licensed physical therapists and assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Summary- Support licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients.
- Participate in a collaborative team environment focused on professional development and continuous learning.
- Engage in ongoing mentorship and receive tailored coaching to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by providing compassionate, creative, and effective therapy interventions.
- Assist physical therapists in carrying out prescribed therapeutic interventions for pediatric patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making timely and accurate reports to supervising physical therapists.
- Help prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in accordance with clinic protocols.
- Encourage patient participation and motivate children to achieve their therapy goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
