Paralegal for Personal Injury Firm
Jacksonville, FL
Our client, a reputable Personal Injury Law Firm in Downtown Jacksonville, is seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal with litigation experience to join their team to work in their main office. As a Paralegal, you will provide support to the firm's attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, managing case files, and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial briefs.
- Compile and organize evidence.
- Manage case files and calendars.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Assist with trial preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the personal injury litigation process, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.
