Pediatric Perfusionist (ABCP Certified) - Summary
- Full-time contract opportunity for an experienced Pediatric Perfusionist (ABCP Certified)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Run perfusion for complex pediatric and congenital cardiac cases, with occasional adult case coverage
- Initiate ECMO when required (no ECMO sitting responsibilities)
- Manage cardiopulmonary bypass, anticoagulation protocols, hemodynamics, and myocardial protection strategies
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain all relevant perfusion equipment and machinery
- Keep accurate, thorough records and support all quality assurance and reporting requirements
- Participate in a regular high-frequency call rotation as part of a collaborative team
- Work closely with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to ongoing program development and support training initiatives as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- ABCP Certified Clinical Perfusionist
- Experience in pediatric perfusion and demonstrated expertise in ECMO initiation
- Active or eligible for Louisiana state perfusion license (ability to obtain within approximately 4 weeks if not currently held)
- Capacity to thrive in high-acuity, high-volume, and mission-driven clinical settings
- Excellent documentation skills and commitment to quality standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
