Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PICU RN) - Summary- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in the intensive care setting
- Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols and policies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Monitor, assess, and treat pediatric patients with acute, life-threatening conditions
- Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and blood products as necessary
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and emotional support
- Collaborate on care plans and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain patient safety and uphold infection control standards
- Participate in emergency and code situations as required

- Current active RN license (Registered Nurse) in good standing
- Minimum of one year experience in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) preferred
- BLS and PALS certifications (Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
