Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present insurance quotes to potential and existing clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of various insurance products.
- Close sales by building trust and rapport, addressing client needs, and guiding them through the insurance purchasing process.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by following up as needed and providing exceptional, friendly, and prompt support.
- Identify and pursue networking opportunities to grow the client base and strengthen the agency's presence in South Bend, IN and the surrounding community.
- Consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic, total commitment to success, and a positive, client-focused attitude each day.
- Actively seek out new service opportunities with both new and existing clients to expand the agency's reach and impact.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (preferred, but not required).
- 2-5 years of insurance experience (required) and 1-2 years of sales experience (preferred).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas in previous roles.
- Strong belief in the importance of insurance and financial products in supporting and improving clients’ lives.
- Proven record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior in professional settings.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills to ensure clear and effective client interactions.
- Ability to successfully generate leads and secure appointments, including from a cold start.
