Packaging Supervisor - Summary- Lead and supervise packaging operations with a primary focus on Form, Fill, Seal (FFS) equipment.
- Oversee daily activities of production staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage training and development for team members within the packaging department.
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve production goals and operational targets.
- Supervise and direct daily packaging line operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with safety protocols.
- Operate and monitor FFS packaging machines, maintaining optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Monitor and assess production schedules, ensuring timely completion of packaging orders.
- Maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the packaging department.
- Train, mentor, and support packaging staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Complete all required production documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to align packaging activities with overall production goals.
- Ensure the packaging area is clean, safe, and organized in accordance with workplace standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain product quality.
- Competitive hourly wage, starting at $22.00 per hour.
