Order Picker - Summary
- Responsible for selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Operates powered industrial trucks and order picker equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Ensures order accuracy by verifying product numbers, quantities, and locations during the picking process.
- Assists with inventory control, stock replenishment, and routine cycle counts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders using warehouse technology, including RF scanners and management systems.
- Operate order picker forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Verify all products against pick tickets to ensure correct selection of items, quantities, and storage locations.
- Prepare orders for shipment, following company guidelines for packing and labeling.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and executing cycle counts as necessary.
- Inspect products for quality, reporting any damage or defects prior to packing and shipping.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to all safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members in shipping, receiving, and inventory control to achieve timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or a similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
- Experience operating order picker forklifts or other powered industrial trucks (certification is a plus).
- Ability to read pick tickets and accurately identify products in the warehouse.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting productivity goals.
- Dependable work ethic and willingness to contribute as part of a team.
- Availability for in-person interviews as required.
