MasterPro, a prominent and rapidly growing service provider partnering with national retailers, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and expand appliance installation operations. As MasterPro initiates its appliance installation services in the Seattle area, this vital role will be instrumental in establishing and scaling operational excellence within the region. The Operations Manager position is a full-time, exempt opportunity reporting directly to the CEO, and offers the chance to build and lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality appliance installation services while maintaining compliance and fostering business growth.
The Operations Manager at MasterPro will oversee all aspects of appliance installation operations, including the management of technicians, subcontractors, and apprentices, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met. Key responsibilities will include recruiting and managing field personnel, enforcing compliance with electrical and plumbing licensing requirements, coordinating training and development, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. This role will also be responsible for financial planning, business development, and hands-on installation work when holding relevant trade licenses. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding MasterPro’s coverage across Washington as operations grow, working closely with retail partners and clients to deliver a seamless service experience.
With a focus on operational leadership in home services, the Operations Manager must possess a deep understanding of compliance and licensing regulations, demonstrate strong people management skills, and have experience in recruiting and training field teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management or field leadership within the home services industry, along with financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and forecasting. Experience with contract management, as well as a willingness to perform hands-on work, is highly valued. Candidates with active Washington State Journeyman Plumber or Electrician licenses, particularly those with 07D certification, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Operations Manager - Summary- Lead and grow appliance installation operations for a national service provider.
- Oversee technician teams, subcontractors, and apprentices in delivering high-quality services.
- Ensure operational compliance and expand business presence in the local market.
- Report directly to the CEO and play a key leadership role in company growth.
- Lead and manage installation technicians and field teams to deliver superior appliance installation services.
- Recruit, manage, and develop licensed subcontractors and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and plumbing licensing requirements.
- Monitor and uphold quality standards across all installation projects.
- Manage and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job-related resources.
- Log apprentice hours and oversee training and development programs.
- Visit retail partner locations and client sites to ensure quality assurance and cultivate relationships.
- Contribute to financial planning, budget management, and forecasting for business growth.
- Draft, review, and manage subcontractor agreements and operational documentation.
- Perform hands-on installation work when properly licensed in electrical or plumbing trades.
- Expand coverage and operational reach as the business grows in the region.
