Operations Manager - Summary
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within Decypher, overseeing daily business operations and driving the strategic direction of the Account Management Team. This position is responsible for developing and executing business strategies, optimizing resource allocation, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless operational performance. The Operations Manager is expected to foster a collaborative work environment and contribute directly to the company’s overall success and growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless and timely execution of company operations to maintain high productivity and service quality.
- Lead and manage daily business operations, with a focus on effective resource allocation and utilization in support of financial and organizational objectives.
- Oversee the Account Management Teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, executives, and employees.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and standardize best practices.
- Monitor employee and team performance, providing coaching, training, and actionable feedback to drive professional development and operational excellence.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation in alignment with strategic organizational goals.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to generate required reports and address customer-related concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operations are aligned with overall organizational objectives and strategies.
- Drive enhancements in customer service quality and satisfaction by optimizing processes and integrating new technologies as needed.
- Lead change initiatives, including the integration of new technologies and business processes, to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, scientific, medical, or a related field.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Federal contracts, with preference given to those with Department of Defense (DoD) contract experience.
- Proven track record of leading large teams in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated collaborative, teamwork-oriented, and inclusive leadership style.
- Ability to analyze complex business data, make informed decisions, and implement creative solutions to address organizational challenges.
- Excellent public speaking and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
