Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Summary- Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and sterile environment
- Utilize critical thinking and technical skills to provide optimal patient outcomes
- Support patient safety and advocacy throughout all phases of surgery
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and emotional needs prior to surgery
- Monitor patients during surgery, maintaining accurate records of vital signs and patient responses
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operative procedures
- Implement infection control measures and maintain aseptic technique
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families
- Document all aspects of patient care and maintain confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans
- Comply with facility policies, licensing, and regulatory requirements

- Previous experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) preferred
