Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Summary- Deliver perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and efficient environment in the operating room
- Follow established protocols and standards in all aspects of surgical nursing
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and available
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations
- Document all aspects of nursing care in compliance with regulatory and facility guidelines
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional perioperative certifications (such as CNOR) are a plus
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
