As a key member of our quality assurance department, the Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) plays a crucial role in evaluating software applications and digital platforms to ensure optimal user experiences and robust functionality. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing on both mobile and web-based platforms to identify areas for improvement.
- Document software bugs, glitches, and user experience issues with clarity and precision so that development teams have actionable feedback.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other QA team members to discuss findings and recommend solutions for identified issues.
- Verify software features across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent performance and accessibility.
- Prepare and submit thorough daily or weekly reports detailing test results, identified problems, and recommendations for enhancement.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured testing instructions and procedures.
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and an understanding of different app and web ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, though not strictly required.
- Reliable internet connection, along with access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device capable of running relevant testing software.
