QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Tester to join our remote team based in Philadelphia, PA. As a QA Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and usability of our digital products, including mobile applications and websites. Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios across both mobile and web platforms, ensuring that user interactions are smooth, intuitive, and error-free.
- Identify, document, and report software bugs, system glitches, and user experience issues in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
- Collaborate effectively with development and product teams to communicate findings, share user feedback, and suggest actionable improvements to enhance platform quality.
- Test software features to confirm proper functionality across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, supporting cross-platform consistency and reliability.
- Generate detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing testing results, defect logs, recommendations, and progress updates, supporting ongoing development cycles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured testing instructions and processes.
- Proficiency with remote working tools and a solid understanding of app ecosystems, including installation, navigation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, software testing, user testing, or a related field is preferred and will help in quickly adapting to the QA Tester role.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device for performing various testing tasks.
