QA Tester Job OverviewOur organization is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our remote team as a QA Tester. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital platforms. As a QA Tester, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate user experience, test app and website functionality, and provide actionable feedback to help enhance our online products. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA, and is available on a remote, flexible schedule.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability testing across both mobile and web platforms, following structured testing scenarios designed to identify user experience issues.
- Carefully document bugs, glitches, and user experience pain points, ensuring all findings are communicated with clarity and precision.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to relay critical feedback, helping to prioritize fixes and improvements that will enhance overall platform performance.
- Verify that software features function correctly across a wide range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, maintaining consistency and reliability for all end users.
- Prepare and submit clear, comprehensive daily or weekly reports summarizing testing results, identified issues, and recommendations for improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow structured testing instructions and scenarios.
- Familiarity and comfort with remote working tools and platforms, as well as a solid understanding of modern app ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and one or more testing devices, such as a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device, is required to perform duties effectively.
