Obstetrics Registered Nurse (OB RN) - Summary- Provide high-quality care to patients in the obstetrics unit, including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient safety and satisfaction
- Utilize advanced nursing skills and knowledge to monitor fetal and maternal well-being
- Support the mission of Openwork Health in delivering patient-centered care
- Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
- Document patient information and care provided in medical records
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including emergency interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on prenatal and postnatal care practices
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other nursing staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of obstetric protocols and best practices
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and privacy throughout their stay

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Relevant experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, or maternal-child health
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
