Montgomery Family & Internal Medicine Associates is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our established family medicine and internal medicine practice. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care and has been dedicated to serving the White Oak, Maryland community for over three decades. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive office-based primary care services to patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Conduct routine screenings and preventive care assessments in accordance with current clinical guidelines.
- Document patient encounters, care plans, and follow-up instructions accurately using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Manage acute care visits, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of common illnesses and minor injuries.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Ensure all clinical care is evidence-based and compliant with applicable regulations and standards.
- This role does not require hospital or nursing home responsibilities, focusing entirely on outpatient office-based care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of one year of experience practicing in a primary care setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
