Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Sarasota, FL - Full-TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient primary care team in Sarasota, FL. As a key member of our healthcare practice, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a supportive, team-based environment that values collaboration and patient-centered outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient examinations and health assessments in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Diagnose medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring high-quality care and continuity for all patients.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the broader clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient information and care plans accurately and efficiently using eClinicalWorks electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and relevant clinical guidelines within primary care.
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care processes.
- Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Florida.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Board certification as an NP or PA.
- Experience working in a primary care or outpatient setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with administrative time included in the schedule. There are no on-call responsibilities, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.
