- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing clinical expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies tailored to individual patient needs, adhering to current clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions to empower informed health decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and cohesive treatment across specialties.
- Utilize utilization management and review processes to optimize patient outcomes and promote efficient use of healthcare resources.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality care initiatives as outlined by our accountable care organization (ACO) contracts.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- New graduates and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply for this full-time position in Charleston, WV.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Greenway Primesuite, is preferred.
- Proficiency in clinical procedures such as IV insertion is desirable.
