We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role is centered in an outpatient family practice environment, offering care to both adult and pediatric patients. As a valued member of the clinical staff, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will contribute significantly to delivering patient-centered, high-quality medical services. This position provides the opportunity to practice in a supportive environment, utilizing the latest healthcare technology and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address a wide range of patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, collecting thorough medical histories and conducting physical examinations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring each patient receives attentive and tailored medical care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate specialty referrals and facilitate additional tests or procedures as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver urgent care services, addressing immediate and acute health concerns with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize ECW (eClinicalWorks) software for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide ongoing management and support for patients with chronic medical conditions, ensuring continuity of care and proactive health maintenance.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and follow-up activities to facilitate ongoing quality care and communication within the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina.
- Demonstrated experience in family practice, pediatrics, or internal medicine clinic settings, with a proven ability to manage diverse patient populations.
- Previous experience in outpatient clinical environments, including managing both routine and urgent care needs.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and empathetic interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
