This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in oncology inpatient care, or a combination of infusion experience with emergency or critical care. The Nurse Practitioner – Hematology Oncology NP will be responsible for patient management from initial diagnosis through active treatment, partnering with inpatient services and other specialties to provide holistic cancer care. Skills in line removal are preferred, though there are no procedures required for this role. The successful candidate must possess an active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and a valid state DEA Schedule 2 license. Certifications such as Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) are highly preferred.
