Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN) Job OverviewShimla Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. As a Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN), you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial patient assessments, including obtaining detailed medical histories and documenting current health concerns.
- Take and record vital signs to monitor patient health status, ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic clinical works (EcW) platform.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations, supporting both routine and urgent care procedures as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations, adhering strictly to clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain thorough and precise patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and confidentiality standards.
- Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic, facilitating smooth transitions between appointments, treatments, and follow-up visits.
- Provide patient education and instruction regarding medications, follow-up care, and preventive health practices.
- At least 2 years of experience using electronic clinical works (EcW) is required for this Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN) position.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license is required, depending on the role for which the candidate is applying.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining professionalism and a patient-focused approach.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
