We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Network Engineer (CCNA) to join our dynamic team in Augusta, GA on a full-time basis. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support for computer networks and networking systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical infrastructure.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues efficiently, utilizing industry best practices to maintain network availability and security.
- Document network architecture, software configurations, hardware inventory, and communication links to support ongoing maintenance and future upgrades.
- Offer end-user support and training as required, including the escalation and resolution of complex networking issues.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to implement network enhancements and support organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular network performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar network administration role.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with the installation, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment.
- Current Cisco Certified Network Analyst (CCNA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and support to end users.
