NET Developer (Full-time) Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled NET Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative technology solutions and participate in the ongoing growth of our organization. The NET Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. Based in Jacksonville, FL, this position provides the advantage of working in an established metropolitan area known for its growing tech sector and vibrant professional community.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of robust applications using .NET Core 5.0 and related technologies.
- Design and optimize SQL databases, including writing and debugging complex stored procedures and triggers, as well as implementing SSIS and SSRS solutions.
- Create efficient SQL queries, analyze query performance, and implement code optimizations to improve application efficiency.
- Apply expertise in Angular, Node JS, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, and Bootstrap to deliver responsive and scalable web applications for both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Utilize GitHub and DevOps tools for effective version control, continuous integration, and deployment of applications.
- Ensure code quality and security by enforcing coding standards, conducting thorough debugging, and performing comprehensive unit testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and other developers, to capture and fulfill detailed business requirements and technical specifications.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in all aspects of project work.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior development team members.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skillset and the quality of software delivered.
- Work independently on small-scale projects as needed, while also efficiently executing tasks assigned by management.
- Proven experience as a senior or advanced developer, with a strong background in Microsoft .NET Core 5.0 and T-SQL 2019 or higher.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and modify complex business logic and code.
- Hands-on experience with Node JS, Visual Studio 2019, Visual Studio Code 1.80+, and Bootstrap 4.6.0+.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and using HTTP requests for data management and retrieval.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and implementation is preferred.
- Background in development within government or real estate sectors is a plus.
- Proficiency with source control systems, specifically Git, for collaborative software development.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical specifications and architectural design documents.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills for bridging gaps between business requirements and technical solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for close collaboration with customers, business analysts, and team members.
- Commitment to ensuring technical solutions align with both business and IT strategies, and adhere to organizational standards.
- Experience providing mentorship and knowledge sharing to less experienced developers.
