As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, documenting, and communicating complex bugs and technical issues within mobile applications, helping to maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of products across diverse mobile platforms.
Responsibilities- Reproduce, analyze, and meticulously document complex bugs, crashes, and anomalies encountered in iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Utilize industry-standard debugging tools and techniques to isolate, identify, and report the root cause of technical issues, leveraging logs, error messages, and device diagnostics.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and other team members by providing detailed technical insights, reproduction steps, and environmental data to facilitate efficient and effective bug resolutions.
- Verify the resolution of bugs and regressions by retesting fixes on various mobile devices and operating system versions, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability.
- Prepare and submit thorough technical reports on identified issues, including clear step-by-step reproduction instructions and relevant device or environmental information.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail required for debugging complex technical issues in mobile applications.
- Proficiency with remote debugging tools and an in-depth understanding of mobile app architecture, specifically for iOS and Android platforms.
- Previous experience in mobile quality assurance (QA), software debugging, or technical support roles with a focus on mobile app troubleshooting.
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a variety of mobile devices for comprehensive testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey technical information to development teams.
