QA Tester Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA Tester to join our remote quality assurance team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the usability, functionality, and overall quality of our digital products, including mobile apps and websites. As a QA Tester, you will evaluate user experiences, identify potential issues, and provide actionable feedback to help enhance our web and mobile platforms. This position is based in Nashville, TN, and offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to make an impact from anywhere while enjoying the vibrant culture and technology scene of the Nashville area.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing for both mobile and web-based platforms, following structured scenarios to ensure all features function as intended.
- Document and report bugs, glitches, and areas where users may encounter challenges or confusion, using clear and concise language.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to communicate findings, feedback, and suggestions for product improvements.
- Verify the compatibility and functionality of software features across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen resolutions to support a seamless user experience.
- Prepare and submit thorough reports on testing results, findings, and recommendations either on a daily or weekly schedule as required by project timelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow precise instructions and testing protocols.
- Experience working with remote collaboration tools and a familiarity with various app ecosystems and digital environments.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a closely related field is preferred, though not strictly required.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a desktop, laptop, or mobile device capable of supporting testing activities.
