Mobile Game Tester Job OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Game Tester to join our remote quality assurance team. In this full-time position based in Denver, CO, you will be responsible for evaluating the user experience and testing the functionality of mobile games and related digital platforms. The role is critical in ensuring that our products deliver high-quality performance and enjoyable user experiences on a wide range of devices. As a Mobile Game Tester, you will play an essential role in identifying issues and providing actionable feedback to our development teams, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our digital offerings.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for mobile games and associated web platforms to ensure seamless gameplay and interface interactions.
- Carefully document any bugs, glitches, or user experience concerns encountered during testing sessions, maintaining clear and organized records for development review.
- Collaborate effectively with development and design teams by communicating detailed feedback and recommending enhancements based on testing findings.
- Verify that all software features function as intended across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent experience for all users.
- Submit structured daily or weekly reports summarizing test results, identified issues, and suggestions for improvement, supporting data-driven development decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured testing protocols and identify subtle issues affecting gameplay and usability.
- Proficiency with remote working tools and a solid understanding of mobile app ecosystems, including navigating app stores and device settings.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred and will be considered an asset in this role.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing a variety of games and applications.
