Mobile QA Engineer – Fintech Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mobile QA Engineer – Fintech to join our remote team in the USA. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play an essential role in ensuring the reliability, security, and smooth operation of our mobile financial technology applications. Your technical expertise and analytical mindset will help us maintain high standards of quality and user trust in our fintech products.
Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive debugging scenarios to identify and document defects in mobile fintech application functionality, security, and data integrity.
- Use advanced mobile debugging tools to investigate, reproduce, and analyze the root causes of issues, such as transaction errors and data inconsistencies, within financial technology apps.
- Prepare detailed and precise bug reports, including clear steps to reproduce issues, to facilitate effective communication with development teams.
- Work closely with software developers, QA colleagues, and security professionals to ensure timely identification and resolution of critical bugs in mobile fintech products.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct thorough regression testing on updated versions of mobile fintech applications to confirm issue resolution and maintain product stability.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities and results, contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes within the fintech environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of mobile fintech concepts and workflows.
- Proficiency with industry-standard mobile debugging and testing tools, as well as familiarity with financial data structures and transaction flows.
- Demonstrated experience in mobile QA, software debugging, or technical support roles, preferably within the fintech sector or similar highly regulated industries.
- Ability to maintain a reliable and secure internet connection and access to a range of mobile devices for testing purposes.
- Uphold high ethical standards, with a focus on identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in financial applications.
