Mobile App QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our remote team as a Mobile App QA Tester (Quality Assurance Tester). In this full-time role based out of Washington, D.C., the successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the quality and usability of our mobile applications and web platforms. As a Mobile App QA Tester, your feedback and insights will drive improvements that enhance the digital experience for users nationwide.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing and quality assurance (QA) for both mobile applications and web platforms to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Document and report software bugs, glitches, and any issues affecting user experience, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other QA professionals to communicate software issues and recommendations for improvements effectively.
- Test software features across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure compatibility and a seamless experience for all users.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on findings, including daily or weekly summaries of test results and suggestions for enhancements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured testing protocols and instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of mobile and web application ecosystems, including the ability to navigate app stores and basic troubleshooting.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Reliable internet connectivity and access to a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing purposes.
