Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and align industrial machines and mechanical systems following technical specifications and blueprints
- Inspect mechanical equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs by replacing defective parts
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as river blending mixers and pumps
- Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and levels to confirm accurate equipment alignment
- Fabricate, modify, and weld parts as required for equipment repair and maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using effective troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with the maintenance and operational teams to reduce equipment downtime
- Prioritize maintenance and repair tasks based on production schedules
- Follow all company safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Maintain detailed records of completed maintenance work, repairs, and used parts
