Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and develop new acquisition and partnership opportunities by building strong relationships with industry stakeholders and participants.
- Introduce and evaluate new acquisition targets, contributing innovative ideas to the corporate pipeline and advancing those opportunities through the deal process.
- Lead and support due diligence activities for strategic transactions, including acquisitions and joint ventures, in collaboration with third-party providers and internal teams.
- Engage in all deal phases, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale and pitch, financial modeling, due diligence, and assisting with closing and integration activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, and external advisors to ensure effective preparation and execution of transactions.
- Analyze emerging markets and commercial opportunities, performing thorough research and translating findings into actionable business plans and analyses for key stakeholders.
- Support executives and organizational leaders by researching and evaluating growth opportunities, partnership concepts, and investment decisions.
- Stay informed on industry trends and risks by engaging with external experts and incorporating insights into business strategy and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analytics related to key operating initiatives, including sales, margin, productivity, and other performance metrics.
- Support investor relations, including financial data analysis, monitoring investor activity, coordinating meetings and follow-ups, and maintaining investor relations databases.
- Contribute to other strategic internal projects as directed by company leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, or Public Accounting.
- Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, quantitative analysis, and familiarity with accounting and key operational metrics.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Proven business development skills, with comfort in outbound sales calling and relationship building in a professional setting.
- Excellent judgment, maturity, and experience interfacing with senior executives and business owners.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
