Medicare Sales Agent (Remote, Full-time Contract)
As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in helping Medicare-eligible individuals understand and select the best Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plans to suit their needs. This remote, full-time contract position is ideal for professionals experienced in phone-based sales, customer service, or call-center environments who are passionate about assisting seniors and providing clear guidance during the Medicare enrollment process. Our national brokerage provides a steady flow of inbound leads, empowering you to focus on closing sales and delivering exceptional client experiences from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound phone calls and web callbacks from Medicare-eligible clients seeking guidance on insurance options.
- Utilize a user-friendly quote-and-enroll platform to help clients compare Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans, ensuring each client receives personalized recommendations.
- Complete electronic applications (e-apps) in full compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, maintaining high ethical standards throughout the process.
- Log detailed notes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track client interactions and ensure continuity of service.
- Conduct timely follow-ups on pending applications to maximize placement rates and secure ongoing renewals, contributing to long-term client satisfaction.
- Participate in self-paced training modules and live Zoom bootcamps to maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare regulations and sales best practices.
- Mentor new representatives and collaborate with team members as you achieve production milestones, supporting a culture of high performance and continual learning.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in phone-based sales, customer service, or call-center roles, with the ability to build rapport and trust over the phone.
- Competence in managing multiple web-based tools and platforms while engaging in live conversations with clients.
- Strong self-motivation and goal orientation, with a track record of exceeding personal performance targets independently.
- Authorization to work in the United States as a 1099 contractor.
Schedule & Tools
- Core work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (local time), with optional evening and Saturday shifts to access additional inbound leads.
- All necessary resources are provided, including a steady inbound lead flow, national carrier contracts, a secure e-application platform, CRM access, compliance support, and errors & omissions (E&O) coverage.
- Weekly direct-deposit pay structure based on commission and residuals, offering substantial earning potential for high performers.
