Medicare Sales Agent Position Overview
As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in assisting Medicare-eligible individuals as they navigate their healthcare plan options. This is a remote, independent contractor (1099) position that enables you to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. You will receive inbound leads and use your expertise to guide clients through plan selection and enrollment, ensuring compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and web callback requests from Medicare-eligible clients seeking assistance with their healthcare plan choices.
- Utilize a quote-and-enroll platform to advise clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Medicare Part D plans that meet their needs.
- Submit electronic applications in full compliance with CMS guidelines, maintaining accurate notes and client records using the provided CRM tool.
- Conduct follow-up communications to maximize placement, renewals, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance throughout the sales process.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development offered through self-paced modules and live virtual bootcamps.
- After achieving initial production targets, mentor new sales agents and have the opportunity to earn overrides on team production.
Qualifications
- Phone-based sales, call center, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable managing multiple web-based tools and platforms while communicating with clients.
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to set and achieve personal and professional goals.
- Authorization to work in the United States as a 1099 independent contractor is required.

- Access to national carrier contracts, an electronic application platform, CRM, compliance resources, and errors & omissions (E&O) coverage.
- Weekly direct deposit payments for commissions earned.

Schedule Information
- Typical core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (local time). Evening and Saturday hours are optional for additional lead flow.
- Flexible remote work arrangement enables you to set your own schedule within the provided guidelines.
