Medicare Sales Agent (Full-time, Remote) – New Orleans, LA
The Medicare Sales Agent role provides an opportunity to work remotely, assisting Medicare-eligible clients in New Orleans, LA and across the country. As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will join a national insurance brokerage focused on delivering superior service to seniors navigating Medicare options. This full-time, remote position is commission-based and designed for motivated professionals eager to help clients select suitable Medicare plans while advancing their careers in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and web inquiries from individuals seeking Medicare coverage information and guidance.
- Educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans using a proprietary quote-and-enroll platform, ensuring compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines.
- Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate Medicare plan based on their unique healthcare needs and preferences.
- Complete electronic applications (e-apps) accurately and efficiently, maintaining necessary documentation and notes within the CRM.
- Follow up on pending or incomplete applications to maximize enrollments and support client retention through renewals.
- Participate in online training modules and live virtual bootcamps to meet licensing and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to build a network and, as desired, develop leadership and team-building skills for potential long-term growth within the brokerage.
Qualifications
- Experience in phone-based sales, call center operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while using various web-based tools and CRM platforms during client interactions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve and exceed personal and organizational targets.
- Authorized to work in the United States as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent client service.
Schedule & Tools Provided
- Full-time work schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in your local time zone; optional evenings and Saturdays for additional lead opportunities.
- All inbound leads provided—no cold calling required.

- Comprehensive licensing and training support included.
- Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage and weekly direct-deposit pay.
