Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound calls and web-based inquiries from Medicare-eligible individuals seeking guidance on health insurance options.
- Assess each client’s unique needs and recommend the most suitable Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Part D plans utilizing the company’s quote-and-enroll technology platform.
- Complete electronic applications in full compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and transactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Conduct diligent follow-ups on pending applications to optimize placement rates and support client retention through policy renewals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to stay current with Medicare regulations and product offerings.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ethical sales practices and uphold the highest standards of client confidentiality and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in phone-based sales, call center environments, or customer service roles is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple web-based tools and platforms while engaging in live conversations with clients.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals independently.
- Authorization to work in the United States as an independent contractor (1099 status).
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
Training and Support
- Comprehensive licensing and training provided, including self-paced e-learning modules and a live Zoom bootcamp to prepare you for success as a Medicare Sales Agent.
- All necessary tools and resources supplied, including steady inbound lead flow, national carrier contracts, e-application software, CRM access, compliance support, and E&O coverage.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Core business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm local time, with optional evening and Saturday shifts available for those seeking additional lead flow.
- Remote, full-time role that offers weekly direct-deposit pay and an uncapped commission structure.
