As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in assisting Medicare-eligible individuals in Dallas and across the country to navigate their health insurance options. As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will handle inbound leads only, meaning you will engage with clients who have already expressed interest in learning about Medicare plans, eliminating the need for cold calling. This allows you to focus on building relationships, understanding client needs, and guiding each individual through the selection and enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and web callbacks from Medicare-eligible clients based in Dallas and throughout the United States.
- Consult with each client to help them compare and select Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Part D plans using an advanced quote-and-enroll platform.
- Ensure that all electronic applications (e-apps) are submitted in full compliance with CMS regulations, and accurately document all interactions and relevant notes in the CRM system.
- Conduct timely follow-up on pending business to maximize policy placements, renewals, and client satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training modules and live sessions to stay current on Medicare products, compliance standards, and effective sales strategies.
- Support new representatives as a mentor and, as you progress, contribute to team success and earn additional incentives.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in phone-based sales, call center operations, or customer service is highly beneficial for success as a Medicare Sales Agent.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple web-based tools and platforms simultaneously while communicating with clients.
- Strong self-motivation, goal orientation, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States as a 1099 independent contractor is required.
