Role Overview
As a Medicare Sales Agent (sometimes called Medicare Insurance Agent or Medicare Advisor), your primary responsibility is to consult with Medicare-eligible individuals via inbound phone calls and web callbacks. Utilizing our user-friendly quote and enrollment platform, you will help clients understand their options for Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans. You’ll ensure full compliance with CMS guidelines while maintaining detailed records in our CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound calls and web callbacks from prospective Medicare clients seeking assistance with their health insurance options.
- Provide clear, accurate guidance to help clients choose the most appropriate Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plan based on their individual needs.
- Complete electronic applications (e-apps) in alignment with CMS compliance standards, ensuring all required documentation is properly submitted.
- Document client interactions, follow-ups, and case notes in the CRM system to track progress and manage your pipeline effectively.
- Proactively follow up on pending applications to maximize placement rates and secure client renewals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in phone-based sales, call center, or customer service roles is highly valued.
- Comfortable multitasking and navigating multiple web-based tools while engaging with clients.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong drive to set and exceed personal performance goals.
- Must be a U.S. resident authorized to work as an independent contractor (1099 employment type).
