As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in assisting seniors in Orlando and across the United States with understanding and enrolling in Medicare plans. This remote, full-time opportunity allows you to leverage your communication skills while guiding clients through the complex world of Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D insurance plans. As part of a national brokerage, you will benefit from a steady stream of inbound leads—prospects who have already expressed interest in receiving assistance. Your responsibility is to advise, enroll, and support these clients, helping them find the best coverage for their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and web callbacks from Medicare-eligible individuals seeking guidance on their health insurance options.
- Utilize a comprehensive quote-and-enroll platform to match clients with appropriate Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plans, ensuring all guidance is in full compliance with CMS regulations.
- Accurately submit electronic applications and consistently log detailed client notes within the company CRM system.
- Follow up on pending applications and client inquiries to maximize placement rates, renewals, and overall client satisfaction.
- Support new team members as a mentor, as you grow within the organization, and contribute to team success through knowledge-sharing and best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in phone-based sales, call center environments, or customer service roles is highly valuable for success as a Medicare Sales Agent.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple web-based platforms simultaneously while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients.
- Strong motivation, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to work independently in a remote, full-time capacity.
- Must be a U.S. resident authorized to work as an independent contractor (1099 status).
Training & Support
- Comprehensive licensing and training support is provided, including self-paced modules and live group training sessions conducted via Zoom.
- Access to national carrier contracts, electronic application platforms, CRM systems, compliance resources, and E&O coverage are supplied to all Medicare Sales Agents.
- Weekly direct deposit payments and continuous lead flow support your ongoing success in this remote, full-time role.
