Medicare Sales Agent (Remote, Full-time)
As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in guiding Medicare-eligible individuals through their health plan options over the phone. This remote, full-time position is designed for professionals who are passionate about helping clients make informed decisions regarding Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans. As part of a national brokerage, you will work from home, using your expertise and our comprehensive resources to connect with seniors seeking assistance. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound phone calls and web callbacks from Medicare-eligible individuals who have requested assistance, ensuring a positive and informative client experience.
- Utilize our user-friendly quote-and-enroll platform to help clients compare and select the most suitable Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plans according to their unique needs.
- Accurately submit electronic applications (e-apps) in full compliance with CMS regulations, maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation within the CRM system.
- Proactively follow up on pending business to ensure successful placements, maximize renewals, and provide ongoing support to clients as needed.
- Participate in self-paced training modules and live Zoom bootcamps to maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare products, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Mentor new representatives as opportunities arise, contributing to the growth of the team and earning override commissions as part of a clear advancement path.
Qualifications
- Experience in phone-based sales, call-center operations, or customer service, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust over the phone.
- Comfortable using multiple digital tools simultaneously during client interactions, ensuring efficient and accurate information delivery.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a strong sense of personal accountability and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Authorized to work in the United States as a 1099 contractor.
Schedule and Tools
- Core Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm in your time zone. Optional evenings and Saturdays are available for additional lead flow.
- All necessary tools provided, including a steady stream of inbound leads, access to national carrier contracts, an electronic application platform, CRM, compliance and Errors & Omissions (E&O) coverage, and weekly direct-deposit pay.
