Responsibilities of the Medicare Sales Agent
- Handle inbound calls and web-based inquiries from Medicare-eligible clients seeking guidance on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans.
- Provide clear, accurate, and compliant information to clients, guiding them to select the most suitable Medicare coverage based on their individual needs.
- Utilize a user-friendly quote-and-enroll platform to submit electronic applications in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements.
- Document client interactions and application details in a CRM system, ensuring accurate records for compliance and follow-up purposes.
- Follow up on pending applications and maintain ongoing communication with clients to maximize enrollment success and build long-term relationships.
Qualifications for Success
- Previous experience in phone-based sales, call center operations, or customer service is highly preferred for Medicare Sales Agents.
- Comfortable navigating multiple web-based tools and applications while communicating clearly with clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed personal and team targets.
- Must be a U.S. resident authorized to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
Work Schedule and Tools Provided
- Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in your local time zone, with optional evening and Saturday shifts available for additional lead flow.
- All necessary tools are provided, including lead flow, access to national carrier contracts, a secure electronic application platform, a CRM system, and compliance support.
- Weekly direct-deposit compensation ensures timely payments for your successful enrollments.
