Medicare Sales Advisor Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Medicare Sales Advisor to join our growing national brokerage team as an independent contractor. This full-time, remote position is based in Jacksonville, FL, and offers the flexibility to work from home while helping seniors navigate their Medicare options. As a Medicare Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the process of selecting and enrolling in Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans. You will benefit from a steady flow of inbound leads, allowing you to focus on providing expert advice and closing enrollments while maximizing your earning potential.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to inbound calls and web callbacks from Medicare-eligible clients seeking assistance with their health plan options.
- Utilize a proprietary quote-and-enroll platform to present and explain various Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plan options.
- Guide each client through the enrollment process, ensuring clarity around plan benefits, costs, and coverage details in compliance with CMS regulations.
- Complete electronic applications (e-apps) accurately, documenting all interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Monitor and follow up on pending business to maximize policy placement and renewals, ensuring continuity of service for clients.
- Participate in paid training to obtain necessary state licenses and certifications, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of Medicare products and compliance requirements.
- Mentor new representatives and support team growth as you achieve production milestones.
- Proven experience in phone-based sales, call center environments, or customer service roles.
- Comfortable using multiple web-based tools and platforms while engaging with clients over the phone.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive independently in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple client interactions and keep accurate records.
- Authorization to work in the United States as a 1099 contractor.
- Core full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm local time, with optional evening and Saturday hours for additional lead flow.
- All necessary tools are provided, including consistent inbound lead flow, national carrier contracts, e-application platform, CRM software, compliance support, and E&O coverage.
- Weekly direct-deposit pay structure for commissions earned.
